In this workshop, we will go through the steps from log to bowl including: how to select a log for the best natural edge effect, orienting the bowl in the log, how to cut a natural edge bowl blank and then how to turn and finish a natural edge bowl. We will show how to balance the high and low points when the blank is mounted on the lathe to present the best ascetic. If you have not turned bowls before, you are advised to take the Fundamentals of Woodturning before participating in this workshop.

This is not a workshop for the beginner turner.  If you have not turned items before attending this workshop, you are advised to take the Fundamentals of Woodturning first.
