In this workshop, we will go through the steps from log to bowl including: selecting a log for the best natural edge effect, orienting the bowl in the log, cutting a natural edge bowl blank, turning, and finishing. We will show how to balance the high and low points when the blank is mounted on the lathe to present the best aesthetic.
