Osage Orange's colour ranges from yellow to a dark golden orange hue and it has a naturally high luster.

Osage Orange is long lasting and one of the most decay resistant woods available. Despite Osage Orange being very durable and hard, this wood has little dulling effect on cutting edges.

It turns well, takes glue and finishes well.

Commonly used to make archery bows, musical instruments, turning projects.

Osage Orange contains a water-soluble yellow dye, so putting the shavings into water will turn the water yellow.
