I bought this resin to fill in knot holes in an existing alder wood dining table that sits ten people. Some of the knot holes were more that an inch deep and the cracks at the table top more than in inch long. The thin resin performed as expected. Easy to mix in small amounts and pour into the gaps. Multiple pours were required to fill the spaces. The self leveling property and, most important, bubble ejection, made this part of the project much easier than I originally anticipated. Since the table finish was a satin and the resin a gloss finish, I found a piece of blue tape across the resin after it sat and settled for a few hours resulted in a satin-like finish.

All went well, my top was flattened on both sides to about 150 grit. I was very satisfied with the end product and turnaround time was faster than estimated and price was reasonable. Result - Happy Customer!

I have used the bandsaw to cut straight lines on plywood and 1/2 inch maple, but also for cutting medium radius curves (c. 2 inch) in 6/4 ash. With the 1/4 inch 4 tpi blade from Laguna it cut flawlessly. The outlet on the side of the column was handy for attaching a small LED light to illuminate the blade.
Assembly was straightforward though a second person is needed for lifting the saw upright.
I have not yet received the components I need to connect the saw to my dust collection system, so I cannot comment on that.

My wife and I did this course this past weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. Brad and Dylan not only walked us through every step of the building process but they also thoroughly explained all tooling, setup and jig design along the way. Their attention to detail and guidance was excellent. We definitely learned some new skills and look forward to taking more of their courses.
