The unique Abranet® Max Flap Disc has a reinforced mesh backing and delivers high performance without clogging or overheating. The minimal clogging ensures even and stable sanding for a long time and maintains a low temperature in the grinding zone to avoid burns and melting of the materials being processed.
The Abranet® Max Flap Disc leaves an excellent surface quality for subsequent paint application, which eliminates the need for an additional processing step. Areas of use are in Metalworking, Woodworking, and Construction for aluminum processing, removal of old paint and corrosion on metal surfaces, plus grinding operations without overheating the surface. Wood stripping applications include resinous wood types and wood with high moisture content, as well as processing of ends and removal of old paint from logs (bar) in wooden housing construction. Use with Mirka® ANGOS ARG-B Cordless Grinder.
Combining durability with flexibility, Alox is well suited for hand sanding. An all-round abrasive with excellent cutting qualities, that gives a high quality surface finish.
