It worked nicely
This was a great workshop taught by Dylan. He was so knowledgeable and has a true passion for what he does. This showed through in the class. It is so refreshing to see an expert in his field sharing his Expert knowledge with those of us who choose to learn more. So grateful I had the opportunity to learn from Dylan and I’m so excited to work with the Blackforest Resin products for years to come! Much appreciation to Dylan and the Blackforest Wood Company Team.
The the very best. Can’t go wrong. Warm bath for resin makes it even better. Enjoy!
Perfect for my son. Has his choice of materials or wood.
I wanted to try a ceramic coating on my refurbished oak dining table. I went with the platinum base coat for my first try with the top coat as well. So easy to apply with no harsh smells. I couldn't be happier with the final results. Big expense upfront but if you are into making tables like myself then it is worth every penny. A lot goes a long way.
The wood I have purchased at Black Forest has always been top notch
Very Good. Used to make screw caps Worked great.
Staff at Black Forest was there. Backing there product and advice helping us though our project.
I wanted 3/8 dowel and picked the corresponding number but I got 7/16 dowel.
Recently used the new Blackforest ceramic coating on a black walnut dining table, my customer wanted protection from scratches and spills but to keep the touch of feel of the beautiful wood. They loved the turnout and from a maker’s standpoint the ease of application is great and fast drying times as well,
thanks guys,great product!
Ready to work "out of the box". Saves me a TON of time!
Boards are really quite nice and useable for my project.
We bought a walnut/epoxy table off of Etsy and I'd expected it to have a top coat of epoxy sealing the tabletop. It didn't and the walnut was raw, with no protective coating of any kind on it. The manufacturer - who was out of Turkey - recommended that I call Black Forest Wood Company. I not only bought the BF furniture oil, but the ceramic coating and top coating. I watched all the BF videos, instructing how to seal the table, and coat the table. I had a spot I had sanded on the table, causing a huge blemish in the epoxy, and they even helped me out with that. I was able to completely repair and seal the table. It looks amazing! I highly recommend buying the furniture oil, ceramic sealer and all the pads, microfiber application sheets and microfiber hand towels. Everything together cost a bit more than the competitors, but it was all totally worth it! (I did have to purchase some 8000 grit sandpaper elsewhere for the final removal of my sanding scuff, but the BF crew advised me on how to best work with it!!) 5 stars all the way!!
Used it on a couple live edge coffee tables and they turned out great. Started with Rubio monocoat and added the ceramic on top
