Very happy with the poplar thins which were used for carving text on CNC for wood signs. The boards were straight and clean resulting in very nice product.

A real value for cost course. You could be a complete beginner and walk away with a stunning piece of furniture worth more than you have spent. The course truly caters to all, from a newbie to people with serious skills that want to expand their knowledge base. As most other reviews mention, Dylan is fantastic instructor. He obviously loves his craft and enjoys passing his skill on to others. And a shout out to all the other fantastic staff working there.
Everybody that have seen the table so far have had positive comments, with a couple people considering signing up for a future course. Just beware, I have already built a kitchen table and am working on end tables to match the coffee table. It can be a little addicting!

My husband and I both took the course together and it was such a fun class! There was a lathe for each person and lots of different pen kits and blanks to choose from! Instructor was knowledgeable, kind, and so helpful. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I did the workshop together. It was a great workshop and we have continued to do other projects with the skills learned. Dylan is a great teacher and Black Forest is my go-to supplier for materials and knowledge.

This epoxy was and is perfect for my application. I only use small beads of the product at a time. The containers re-seal perfectly and with literally no waste. The setting time of this is very quick - so preparation is key so that there’s no delay in application. Once applied, however, the set time is much appreciated - so that I don’t need to hold the pieces in the desired position very long before I can let go and start cleaning up. Also, any over pour is easily cleaned up with a quick wipe of a rag.
In my opinion, for any small project work, this is a 10/10!
