Not up to the usual standard

I ordered four boards of S2S 4/4 quartersawn fir. They all arrived very rough, with a corduroy-like mill surface. That was nothing my own milling couldn't deal with but I am unhappy that one of the boards measured only 3/4 of an inch as I received it. It will be close to 1/2 inch by the time I prep it to S4S. The other three were true 4/4.
The same order had some s2s Maple and Cherry. The Cherry was fanstastic and the Maple also very nice.
