The price at the payout counter was incorrectly tabulated on my receipt based on the stores sale price. The purchase was made and billed out at a 15% discount. An additional 10% discount was credited when mentioned to staff who verified the calculation was a correctly done.
Upon planing one of the 24 inch walnut, live edge boards I discovered a nail in the board that did significant damage to my planar blades. Not happy. Otherwise the purchase was just fine.

As for the nail, this is definitley something that shows up from time to time when working with urban salvaged lumber. We plane all of the material before putting it out in the store to try and spot nails ourselves, this one must've been just below the surface.
If you'd like, we can give you a new board the same as the one that had the nail, no additional cost to you.
