the extension does not rest on the bolts, you have to raise it up a bit to match the bed. i used longer bolts and nuts on the other side, as well as put a stand under the end for support. it nice for hollowing because you can slide the rear captive part.

REVO 18|36 & 24|36: 20" Extension
20" Steel Extension comes packed with cast-iron riser block to raise the Tailstock as well as Tool-Rest extender.
The 20" Extension can mount in 5 different positions including perpendicular to Headstock to allow better access.

- Revo 24|36
Maximum Outboard Turning Diameter With Extension Installed:
