Fundamentals of Woodturning

This is a fantastic 2 day workshop and Terry is a fantastic teacher. You immediately dive right in to create 4 projects over the 2 days. Terry's knowledge and patience shines through as he first demonstrates the skill and then lets you practice coming to your assistance when needed. The equipment is all high end and gives a wide scope for learning the different tools and applications for them. If you are looking to experience wood turning for the first time as I was - or enhance you home grown skills as some in my class were I would highly recommend this class and any other class that Terry instructs.

This is a great course for anyone interested in Woodturning . Terry is a superb teacher that provides solid experience and thorough instruction. I have previously turned a few items but learned so much over the weekend course that has allowed me to better enjoy my time at the lathe. This course has sparked me to expand my skills and to venture into new styles of turning that I would have never attempted before.
Well worth the time and reasonable cost

If you like to learn by doing, this course is definitely for you. After a brief overview of the lathe and safety, off we went into four fun projects that cover many basic and intermediate techniques of turning. Terry was an excellent instructor, keeping each step small enough to focus on learning the techniques with plenty of review to solidify the concepts. With a small class size, there's the opportunity to ask questions or have Terry look over your shoulder.

If you're looking to start turning or need a refresher, I would definitely recommend this class!
