#5 Gouge, 16mm, Two Cherries

Two Cherry gouges were introduced to me by the folks at Black Forest and I couldn’t be happier. I have used a few other good brand names but not since using 2C. Comfortable in my hand, quickly take a sharpening, don’t roll off the bench, take a beating and don’t fall apart, and they cut through my poplar wood exactly as I want them too. I find myself using them well into the detailing phase of my carvings. Top drawer product.
