I wanted to try a ceramic coating on my refurbished oak dining table. I went with the platinum base coat for my first try with the top coat as well. So easy to apply with no harsh smells. I couldn't be happier with the final results. Big expense upfront but if you are into making tables like myself then it is worth every penny. A lot goes a long way.
Recently used the new Blackforest ceramic coating on a black walnut dining table, my customer wanted protection from scratches and spills but to keep the touch of feel of the beautiful wood. They loved the turnout and from a maker’s standpoint the ease of application is great and fast drying times as well,
thanks guys,great product!
Used it on a couple live edge coffee tables and they turned out great. Started with Rubio monocoat and added the ceramic on top
Very interesting product
Used it on some small projects
Very durable result
-is it food safe?
-can I get it to higher gloss?
Tks,will order some more
One of the few products I've tried that is actually as good as advertised and just as easy to apply as they say! Makes an oil finish virtually waterproof and protects against scratches. I've had this on my family table (that my 2 and 4 year old use every day) for 6 months now and it still looks brand new! Put this on a table for my in laws as well with the same experience
