Join us in this woodworking basics course, where you will learn how to build a simple edge-grain cutting board! The board we build will be 12x18x1.75", using pre-cut 18" long blanks ranging from 3/4" to 1 1/2" wide. The course will cover:
- proper wood selection
- glue-up procedure
- thickness planing and cutting to size on the table saw
- how to safely use a router to make a juice groove
- hand and machine sanding
- food-safe finish options and application techniques
Workshop price includes your choice of domestic hardwoods like maple, cherry, oak, and ash, which you can compliment with two accent strips of premium hardwoods such as walnut, padauk, and purpleheart.

Workshop Days: Saturday + Sunday or Tuesday + Wednesday
Workshop Time: 9-11am Sat / 9am-1pm Sun or 6-8pm Tues / 6-9:30pm Wed
