Stabilized Box Elder Burl pen blanks. Blanks measure minimum 3/4" square by 5" long. 

Easy to drill and turn - we recommend finishing with thin CA glue, abranet, micro mesh and Hut Ultra Gloss for a smooth, high gloss shine. Stabilization refers to impregnating soft wood with resin, creating a blank that is no longer weak. Burl is a rare, abnormal growth on a tree that has beautiful swirling figure and eyes and is often used in high end furniture.
