XL Vase Steady

HOPE XL vase steady. Will support vases or spindles from 30mm in diameter to 400mm in diameter. Made from heavy-duty 10mm thick steel plate, this steady is super strong.  Weight is 15KG. All metal parts are zinc plated and the wheels are rated at 80KG per wheel. (The maximum suggested weight it will hold is 160 KG) Maximum  RPM is 1000. As standard the steady is built for the Stratos 230 lathe but will fit onto smaller lathes. For example the Twister 200. It has a center height of 200mm as opposed to 230mm of the Stratos 230 so the maximum vase it will hold is 320mm. This is the diameter difference in between the 2 lathes. A riser block is available to suit the XL lathe so a maximum of 400mm can be achieved on the XL lathe. This is an optional extra. A wooden riser can be easily made to reduce this extra cost. Extra arm positions on the top and side to allow the XL vase steady to be used in conjunction with the HOPE laser or camera system. Comes with 2 x bolt down blocks to fit large and small sized lathes.
