I needed a good rasp for aggressive wood removal, I really don’t have experience with rasps, the gentleman at Black Forrest wood was very knowledgeable and helpful, I bought his recommendation which is a rasp from Kutzall, it is very good and exactly what I need. Thank you for your help.

My wife and I did this workshop in December 2025, as a wedding anniversary gift. The course is designed for people with varying levels of shop skills. Our finished product was unique and showroom quality as were all other projects done during our session. Dylan was a great support throughout and very knowledgable. He had so many helpful suggestions from picking your wood, laying out your project, tinting and pouring the resin and all the little details on how to finish your piece so that it truly stunning. We both left the class not only with a beautiful table but also feeling confident on tackling our next project.

Class was great, even for an absolute beginner like me. Instructor was attentive and was each student every step of the way, giving great classroom instruction, overseeing working with the various tools/machines, and providing pointers/tips when needed. Class attendants were a mix of folks with different levels of wood-working experience, but we all came away learning something and with an excellent jewelry box. Would take a class at Black Forest Wood Company again!

I find this glue works very well wicking into small cracks and it doesn’t set too fast. That also makes it work very well as a wipe on finish.

Definitely high quality flakes. Dissolved quickly in a few hour without grinding in 99% isoprophyl alcohol. No residue after filtering. Even the filter was relatively clean. Happy with results. Would purchase again.

I purchase the 3 and 6 mm thins for use as accent pieces in segmented turning. They work great and relives me of cutting and planing my own from thicker stock
